- Pair of scissors
- An empty toilet paper scroll
Step 1: get things set
Get together all of your materials!
Step 2: cut and measure
Place your toilet roll down on your blackness sheet of paper with their meridian edges lining up and make a mark where the roll's lesser edge hits the page. Use this mark equally a guide to cutting a roll-sized strip of black paper.
Step 3: glue
Employ glue downward the full length of the toilet ringlet and press downwards ane edge of the roll-sized strip you but cut from black paper. Wrap the strip around the curlicue so it covers the whole surface, trimming the excess once you've made your way back to the commencement and sticking that new edge downwards flush against the first i. Your gyre should at present be totally covered in black newspaper.
Step 4: make the ears
Press 1 border at the top of the roll inwards so it bends towards the middle of the hole in the height. Curve the edge on the other side in to see it. You should have a sort of semi-circumvolve shape at the top of your curl now, with a point on one side arcing down in the middle and ascension to a point on the other side. These will be your cat's ears!
Step 5: draw the tail
Describe the outline for your cat's tail on your black paper by sketching a sparse pointed rectangle about 2 inches long.
Step 6: make the olfactory organ
Sketch the shapes for the within of your cat's ears by drawing two small pointed triangles the same size on your pink newspaper. Also sketch a tiny heart most the same size of the triangles. This will be your cat's nose!
Step 7: make the cage
On your white page, outlined two shapes that resemble apostrophes. I fabricated mine about the same size as my pink triangles. These white shapes will be your cat'southward muzzle.
Pace 8: make the optics
Recreate that same tapering shape that you made on your white paper, simply this time on the dark-green. This time, I fabricated the shape a little bit bigger. I as well made one the opposite or mirror image of the other, rather than doing them exactly the same like I did with the white. These will be your cat's vivid, glowing eyes.
Step ix: make the eyes
Going dorsum to your black paper, draw two thin tapered shapes that will become the pupils in your cat'south eyes.

Apply glue to the backs of the facial pieces and stick on the eyes, pupils, and ear centers.
Step 12: all done!
Utilise glue to the flat stop of your tail slice and stick it at an angle to the back of your cat, nearly the bottom, then information technology jaunts out at an angle like a cat's tail. So stick the 2 white muzzle pieces side by side below the optics. Gather the white slivers together and apply mucilage at their collective center to stick them above the cat'due south cage, and and then stuck the little pink heart olfactory organ down over the whiskers. Your true cat's confront is almost consummate!
Footstep 13: extra bow
If you desire to add an extra beautiful detail, rather than making your cat plainly black and chilling, have your length of ribbon and apply glue in the middle. Curl 1 and and then the other towards the center in a bow shape, crossing them over in the heart to hang down like a properly tied ribbon with two loops. Utilise some gum on the back of your newly fabricated bow and stick it over one of your cat'due south ears.
Step 14: whiskers
Give your cat some extra character by curling its whiskers around your pencil. I did this towards the back so the whiskers didn't stick out the forepart like the cat was frightened. I used the pencil to give the cat'southward tail a flake of curl while I was at it also.
Step fifteen: paint
Use your brush to paint little white paws on your cat almost the bottom front end of the toilet roll.
Stride 16: chin and mouth
Paint ii curved white lines beneath the cat'due south white muzzle to brand a little chin and mouth.
Pace 17: petty details
Paint a piddling white patch on the tip of the true cat's tail for some extra detail.
Step 18: finished
Use your black felt tip pen to take the particular even farther by cartoon toe lines on your true cat'southward paws and niggling whisker dots on its white cage.
